We are pleased to announce that DataTeam was selected by Siemens S.A. to participate as a subcontractor in the Constantine K. Mitsotakis Foundation’s project:
Digitization of the Historical Archive
DataTeam will digitize the foundation’s historical archive which consists of around 200.000 documents that come in a wide variety of types, quality and sizes, along with approximately 10.000 color and grayscale photos.
The historical archive originates from around 1880 to today and includes important Modern Greek cultural materials, many of which are sensitive documents that require delicate handling.
The digital archive will be delivered in three different forms:
An exact digital copy, considered as the digital replacement of the original
A compressed digital copy, for internal network use
A low-quality digital copy, for web site publishing
DataTeam will use its own Equipment, Software, Staff and Backfile Conversion Methodology to complete the project within a time frame of 15 months.
